HOW WE WORK
We develop original visual concepts from first idea to final execution, building the image, shaping the narrative, and obsessing over every last detail. Our uncompromising editorial approach is defined by purist, off-the-cuff direction.
Each project is considered and visually enduring. We have a weakness for beauty, a taste for edge, and an interest in the perfectly imperfect. Standards are high. Egos are not. Methodical in process and meticulous in detail, we collaborate with a select network of highly skilled photographers, videographers and designers.
TEAM
Our founder, Antoinette Degens, spent fifteen formative years ascending the fashion editor food chain in Amsterdam, a trailblazer in flats. She travelled the world, developing her relentless passion for beautiful visuals as Senior Fashion Editor at ELLE, Fashion Director at Glamcult, and contributor to Harper's Bazaar, before returning to her home country.
Completing the duo is Daniël Geldenhuys: writer, editor, and South African fashion week nerd. Having worked at the forefront of South Africa's shift from print to digital, he understands instinctively how to produce and prime content for any platform. Relying heavily on the Notes app, Daniël leads narrative development and copy, aligning visual and verbal identities.
Together these partners in crime, with an uncanny resemblance, operate with just the right amount of intensity, efficiency and humour. No algorithms were harmed in the making of this studio.
